Imagine working hard for just 32 months to enjoy retirement 44 years earlier, with long-term financial freedom. This is the story of Daniel and Theresa, GAR Triple Diamonds who developed their Amway business. When they learned about the Amway Business, they recognized it as a rare opportunity, valuing the financial freedom it offers. Since 1978, they have dedicated themselves full-time, laying a solid foundation in just 32 months through discipline and hard work. Today, they are reaping the rewards and living comfortably. Their success demonstrates that anyone can thrive in Amway if they seize opportunities and pursue their dreams.

1. Which milestone has impressed you the most during Amway’s 50 years journey in Hong Kong?

The A60 anniversary celebration of Amway stands out as the most impressive event for us. The arrangements were ingenious and meticulously planned, allowing us to deeply appreciate the strength Amway has built over 60 years, with a strong focus on Amway Business Owners (ABOs). One of the most unforgettable moments was the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon where the breathtaking views of nature were spectacular. Another highlight was the grand welcome dinner where all the Executive Diamonds and above gathered alongside representatives from Amway’s founding families. It was particularly memorable to see young members from the third generation actively participating, engaging with us, and taking photos, showcasing the continuity of Amway's culture. The after-party was exceptional, with ABOs from different generations dancing together and fostering connections. This truly reflected the cohesion of the Amway family. This special event allowed us to experience Amway's rich history and its strong commitment to corporate culture, creating a remarkable chapter in our lives.

2. How do you maintain your enthusiasm for the Amway business? What attitude do you adopt when facing challenges?

Our commitment to the Amway business stems from the fact that it is not just a job; it is a philosophy and a mission. Amway provides us with a stable income, allowing us to focus on our development without concerns. More importantly, Amway's mission to help people live better, healthier lives motivates us greatly. Hearing a couple in our team share how Amway transformed their lives inspires us to engage passionately in our work. We are not just making money; we are making a difference. Challenges will always exist, but we never back down. We face them with a smile, believing in Amway’s philosophy, staying true to our aspirations, and influencing others while spreading Amway’s positive energy.

3. What does “health and wellbeing” mean to you?

The concept of “health and wellbeing” permeates every aspect of our daily lives, reflecting our overall state of being. Thanks to Nutrilite products, Theresa and I enjoy carefree lives filled with happiness and confidence, knowing that even at age 90, we will be healthier than our peers. This alleviates the concerns of the younger generation about our health, allowing our family to live more easily. Achieving a balance among diet, exercise, and mindset is also essential. A well-coordinated diet, combined with moderate exercise, supports our physical and mental health. Additionally, DeVos’ saying, “I Can Do It, You Can Do It Too,” inspires our positive attitude and motivates us. Ultimately, “health and wellbeing” require coordination across all aspects of life—caring for ourselves while positively influencing our family. This is the goal we relentlessly pursue through our Amway business.

4. What insights do you have about building a team?

Building a strong team relies not only on professional skills but also on sincerity. Sharing genuine personal experiences is key to inspiring teammates, as openness resonates more than abstract theories. Creating a relaxed and enjoyable communication atmosphere is equally important. As the saying goes, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” Timely meal gatherings and social events can strengthen team bonds and enhance trust. Recognizing individual limits, a leader must be accountable and guide like-minded partners toward common goals. By fostering sincerity, serving with love, and promoting team spirit, we can steadily progress toward greater success.
