Empowering People to Build Community and Realize Dreams

User-friendly business tools can accelerate business expansion. To further facilitate the daily work of ABOs, Amway Hong Kong has developed the comprehensive Amway Hub app, which combines business center, information platform, and online shopping center, enabling ABOs to access the latest information and manage their businesses conveniently.
General Manager of Amway Hong Kong Ms. Amanda Kok states: "Young people can bring more possibilities to the future through Amway platform. To promote Amway Hong Kong's business opportunities and give more young people the chance to realize their entrepreneurial dreams, Amway Hong Kong launched a new business opportunity video in May, hoping to introduce Amway's Health and Wellbeing concept and the business opportunities it provides, offering another choice for young aspiring entrepreneurs.
The Wheelchair Fencing Queen - Alison's Journey from Amputation to Paralympic Gold
Wielding a sword while seated in a wheelchair, Alison's movements are filled with power and speed. Using only her hands, Alison has brought glory to Hong Kong time and again. Alison faced the anguish of bone cancer at just 11 years old and was forced to have her left calf amputated. However, adversity did not crush her will. In less than a decade, her remarkable courage propelled her onto the Paralympic stage, where she won four gold medals through her outstanding performance. Alison says, "Losing my left calf was a huge challenge in my life, but I never let it become an obstacle to my progress. Instead, I am proud of it and have turned it into a motivation to surpass myself."
As a wheelchair fencing athlete, Alison's sporting achievements have earned her widespread acclaim. However, when she initially wanted to pursue fencing, her mother did not approve, worried that she would struggle to balance her studies and sports, only hoping that she would use sports to train her body. Alison says, "Even though the voices around me differed from mine, I understand that as long as you believe in your own abilities and passion, and bravely pursue what you truly desire, step out of your comfort zone, and are not afraid to face challenges and difficulties, the adversity is just a part of growth on the path to pursuing your dreams." Therefore, despite her mother's opposition, she did not give up, but rather step-by-step pursued her own dream. Ultimately, she achieved outstanding achievements in the fencing arena and obtained a Bachelor degree in Geography and Resource Management and a Master degree in Sports Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2004, Alison first represented Hong Kong at the Paralympic Games and immediately won four gold medals. To date, she has accumulated seven Paralympic gold medals, making her the athlete with the greatest number of gold medals in Hong Kong's history.
However, Alison's life pursuit did not end on the podium. Success on the fencing was just the beginning of her multifaceted efforts. She continually embraces new challenges and explores new possibilities to break through her own limits. In recent years, she has started to challenge sports beyond fencing, such as skydiving, swimming, and running. Alison believes, "Although this journey is not easy, it is these challenges that have shaped me into who I am today." Alison's experiences and attitude have become an inspiration to many, and they also align with Amway's philosophy. Amway believes that personal growth is an indispensable part of life and a key element in the path to success. Therefore, Amway Hong Kong invited Alison to participate in a shoot, and invited her to share her experiences on social media, encouraging young people to bravely face adversity, embark on the path of growth.
