Alex is a man who radiates confidence, excelling as an emcee at rallies or as a guest speaker, and shining on stage when he hosts events or gives speeches. However, behind the confident façade, he admits to having an introverted and reserved nature. When it comes to dreams, Alex made a firm decision during his first year at university to become a professional accountant after graduation, with the aim of building a secure future. However, since both of his parents are entrepreneurs, he also held an aspiration to start his own business at some point.
Alex made a clear plan to get his professional qualifications first and then venture into business. When he encountered Amway, he understood its core business values from the outset, quickly gaining a profound understanding of the concept of free enterprise. Having the opportunity to run his own business while still at university was beyond his imagination, and his confidence was boosted by the positive and proactive environment he experienced in Amway.

Alex explained that developing an Amway business is a low-cost, low-risk opportunity, and that the health and wellness industry is a thriving sector with limitless potential. "Amway provides me with a wide margin for error, and experienced mentors are willing to share their personal insights, allowing me to accumulate experience,” he said. What’s more, witnessing Amway leaders living the life he aspired to served as the driving force behind Alex’s commitment to developing an Amway business.
Overcoming Challenges in the Quest for Success
Reflecting on his journey to achieving New Founders Emerald status, Alex questions whether some of his decisions may have been hasty. "I told myself that confidence isn't something you have from the beginning, but something you build through each step of the journey." But when he thought about being able to help his partners achieve new heights in the business, he was determined to continue pushing forward.
The biggest challenges he faced along the way were how to unite the team, provide the necessary guidance and lead his team members to grow. Fortunately, through the strong communication and learning from leaders as well as his own research, Alex was gradually able to overcome any obstacles.
"As long as you are willing to work hard and grow, life can definitely get better,” he smiled. "I have a dream to travel to all seven continents before the age of 35. With the time, freedom and additional income the Amway business has given me, I firmly believe that I am on track to realizing that dream!"
Occupation at joining Amway: Red Wine Business
Jenny is a dedicated and hardworking entrepreneur who came to Hong Kong from the UK seven years ago and co-founded a wine company with her friends. In 2017 she met friend Kelvin who introduced her to the Amway business. Initially, Jenny’s focus was only on buying Amway products due to her concerns about health and nutrition, and she didn’t consider developing an Amway business at that time. However, from the beginning she was deeply impressed by Amway's values, such as the spirit of helping others, the fair reward system, and a culture of mutual support.

Over the course of her Amway journey, Jenny learned to be more tolerant and proactive in giving – personal growth experiences that had a positive impact on her family life and business. Now, Jenny's biggest goal is to lead six partners in achieving their goals of becoming Founders Platinum Distributors and to achieve a lifestyle of wealth and time freedom through the Amway business.

Jenny faced many difficulties in pursuing her Emerald achievement and she stressed that success is not solely dependent on individual effort – effective team leadership is also crucial. "By overcoming these difficulties, I learned to strengthen communication with partners, properly understand each other, and continuously reflect on myself to become a more responsible and compassionate person,” she said.
"The health and wellness industry is an unstoppable trend. If you choose the right business and platform and are willing to learn constantly, you can gain rewards beyond just earning money. That's why I often encourage friends and family to take the first step in getting to know Amway,” Jenny smiled.
Asked to describe the impact Amway has had on her, Jenny uses the word "altruism". In building her Amway business she has learned to selflessly put the well-being and happiness of others above her own needs, constantly reminding herself to strive to become a better and even outstanding person.

In a fast-evolving world, there are individuals who dare to pursue their dreams and embark on new career paths. After completing her education, Flora initially found herself working in wealth management. As life progressed and she started a family, Flora shifted her focus. Following the birth of her daughter, she began exploring body-shaping treatments and eventually came across traditional body-binding therapies, which yielded remarkable results. Intrigued by the artistry of body binding and recognizing its potential for growth, Flora made the decision to immerse herself in mastering the technique. Over a span of two to three years, she diligently learned from experienced mentors and ultimately set up her own postpartum care center.
The Entrepreneurial Journey: Making Dreams a Reality
Transitioning from the finance field to a physically demanding body binding business was not easy for Flora. She faced numerous challenges, particularly in terms of physical stamina. She reminded herself that adversity often serves as the crucible for habit formation and that challenges can become second nature.
The biggest challenge Flora faced was the global pandemic, which had a profound impact on her business. However, she had the opportunity to encounter Amway and was introduced to its business plan.
"Initially, my general impression of Amway was that it was a sales-driven industry, so I wasn't that interested in the company’s business plan,” she recalled. However, things changed when Flora witnessed her husband's successful journey towards overcoming obesity and improving his health by using Amway's health supplements. This prompted Flora to reassess her view of the Amway business and understand its true value and potential.
Understanding Amway’s Core Values
Through a deeper understanding of Amway, Flora realized that the company places a strong emphasis on empowering team partners to grow and fostering a helping spirit. In contrast to the fiercely competitive nature of traditional industries, where the focus is on trying to outperform others, Amway's values of self-improvement resonated deeply with Flora, convincing her that Amway was a business worth developing.
In the early stages of her Amway business, Flora encountered many setbacks and often found herself on the verge of giving up. However, her husband encouraged her to continue, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a long-term passive income and the need for perseverance.
“Time is the most valuable asset in life, and now I primarily invest my time in my family and Amway," Flora reflected. "Through my journey with Amway, I have learned to be more tolerant and patient, and I have come to truly understand the culture that defines Amway. I have discovered that Amway is a place full of dreams, and a business that fosters continuous growth and sustainable development."
