Have you ever dreamed of starting your own business and achieving success before hitting thirty? Or after years in the workforce, does it feel challenging to step out your comfort zone and realize the ideal lifestyle? Meet the vibrant duo, Alfred and Angela. They charted their life paths early on and made remarkable strides in their Amway business in their twenties. Like fruits tempered by time, they have become more grounded as parents while their passion and aspirations for life remain unwavering. How did they become role models for young people and set clear goals for their team?

1. How did you achieve early success in Amway, and how do you motivate yourselves and your team to keep growing?

Alfred:  Personal influence is essential. Angela and I embarked on our Amway journey at just 18 and 19. As we grew, we embraced innovation and maintained a strong commitment to our goals. Our values and mindset have continuously evolved. To foster team growth, building a strong talent network is crucial. As Amway Corporation Co-founders said, “We build the people; the people build the business.” A solid talent network empowers us to withstand societal and economic challenges. Therefore, we strive to uplift others, enabling them to help even more people.

Angela: The environment you are in plays a crucial role in personal development, particularly for young people who are often shaped by their peers and surroundings. Being surrounded by positive influences and motivated individuals can greatly enhance personal growth. To foster a thriving team, it is essential for individuals to continually grow and set an example that inspires their teammates.

2. What methods do you use to inspire the young team members to break through their limits and pursue their dreams?

Alfred: We encourage them to embrace challenges and take bold steps toward their dreams! We also analyze the current economic landscape with young people, helping them navigate their post-graduation options: whether to follow a traditional job path or to dedicate a few years to the Amway business to achieve their desired lifestyle.

Angela: Give life a dream and provide a way to achieve it! Most young people can be categorized into two groups: those still searching for direction and those with dreams but lacking a path to realize them. For the first group, like my past self, I focus on helping them identify their goals. For the second group, I assist them in believing that the Amway business can help them turn their dreams into reality.



3. How do different age groups perceive the pursuit of a "Health and Wellbeing" lifestyle?

Alfred: We all share a common goal of physical health, aspiring to stay youthful, energetic, and open to new experiences! Achieving this requires a genuinely healthy body. The sooner one consumes Nutrilite products and begins antioxidant and nutritional supplementation, the better their health will be compared to those who start after age 30! When it comes to wellbeing, everyone’s pursuit is unique. For those who are more mature and have families, wellbeing means enjoying a fulfilling life with their loved ones, ensuring both their children and parents share in that joy. They often prioritize family gatherings over personal indulgences, such as participating together in Amway Travel Seminars.

Angela: Young people often seek freedom and novelty, while those with more life experience tend to focus on financial security, quality time with family, and maintaining healthy body and healthy mind.

4. As Amway Hong Kong celebrates its 50th anniversary, what long-term goals do you set for yourselves and your team?

Alfred: Our ultimate goal is to become members of the FC (Amway Global Advisory Council)! Who wouldn’t want to be an FC while growing their Amway business? Given Amway’s impressive half-century presence in Hong Kong and Macau, I believe that with dedication and hard work, we can achieve this goal in the next five to ten years. Over the past 50 years, we’ve seen the first Chinese Crown Ambassadors, Clement and Anita, Mr. and Mrs. Cheong from the small market of Macau became Crown Ambassadors, leading the way for remarkable growth. I’m confident our new generation will build on their legacy and do even better in the next 50 years. We are committed to paving a bright path for more partners in the decades to come!

Angela: First and foremost, we aim to achieve our goal of achieving GAR (Global Award Recognition), which will empower us to lead our partners to even greater heights! The OPP (Amway Business Opportunities) is the best product in the Amway business. Our long-term goals will focus on enhancing both the quantity and quality of sharing Amway Business Opportunities.
