Rosalind, a former flight attendant who yearns for freedom, chose to give up her profession and joined Amway to reclaim more personal time. Similarly, Hillman, faced with limited career choices, also turned to Amway as he believes "starting my own business is better than working for others." Amway enables him to take control of his time and lead a more liberated life. Most importantly, Amway business is a fair platform offering low-cost and low-risk entrepreneurial opportunities for aspiring individuals. On this platform filled with possibilities, Hillman and Rosalind, both GAR Executive Diamonds, have a balance between family, personal growth and interests while pursuing a stable career. By upholding a lifelong learning mindset and their enthusiasm, they consistently set concrete goals and ultimately built a “learning-oriented” team.

1.What are the most enjoyable moments and unforgettable experiences throughout your years in the Amway business?

Our team faced many unprecedented challenges during the three years of the pandemic. We strived to find innovative ways adapting to the changing market, making innovation and evolution part of our daily routine. Despite the tremendous pressure from the external environment, the collaboration within our team motivated and uplifted our spirits. This experience not only strengthened our solidarity but also foster our grow together. Eventually we won in this adversity, and this will remain in our memories forever. In 2019, we moved into a new office tripled our space. Acknowledged the uncertainty in the market, we still chose to invest in a larger office since we believed it would motivate the team. This decision paid off and proved the values of embracing changes and maintaining unwavering faith.

2. What does the 50th anniversary of Amway Hong Kong mean to you? How would you describe your partnership with Amway?

For us, 50-year is more than just a measure of time, it represents the realization of dream and perseverance. Back to the days when we first started our Amway business, many people believed the direct selling was only suited to large and inconvenient market like the United States, but not for Hong Kong. Nonetheless, the steadfastness of Amway Hong Kong over these 50 years taught us the importance of dreaming big and staying committed to those dreams. People with aspirations can be found everywhere, making Amway a truly global business. Our partnership with Amway is impeccable. Sharing common goals fosters understanding, tolerance, and support in our pursuit of success. We seek for consensus and common grounds in different opinions to achieve a win-win outcome. This close collaborative relationship is the cornerstone of our persistent growth and essential for our future success.

3. Amway always advocates lifelong learning. How do you maintain the enthusiasm for it and fulfill different goals?

We began developing our Amway business at a young age. We have always been in the pursuit of knowledge and advancement. In facing this ever-changing world, we recognize the significance of lifelong learning. As a “learning-oriented team”, we continually seek to update ourselves. Like smartphones, we enhance our performance and efficiency to keep pace with the times. Meanwhile, setting goals is another way to maintain enthusiasm. Take A50 as an example, we set a specific target for achieving Founders Platinum. This not only motivated us but also served as an important indicator of our team’s progress. Having clear objectives allows us to stay engaged and passionate about pursuing our goals. This mindset extends beyond our Amway business; it also influences every aspect of our lives. Achieving financial freedom empowers us to pursue other dreams and lead a more meaningful life.

4. How do you share the concept of “health and wellbeing” within your team? How do you integrate it into your daily life?

We emphasize the importance of holistic health; therefore, the concept of “health and wellbeing" is meaningful to us. Amway outlines six values of Health and Wellbeing that clarify this concept: Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Community Connection, Personal Growth, Healthy Environment and Financial Wellbeing. These values align closely with our goal of holistic development and enable us to convey the profound meaning of this concept to our team. We also highlight each value with specific examples tailored to the needs and goals of our partners. The concept is reinforced through our sharing, making “health and wellbeing” a shared belief within our team and throughout the community. This not only fosters connections among our partners but has also inspired us to work together toward a “health and wellbeing” lifestyle.
