Stand by a mirror or observe your friends around you – are you standing up straight?

Stand properly and check whether you have below poor postures.

  • Looking down at your computer and phone screen for a long time
  • Sitting with crossed legs. Walking or standing hunched over
  • Leaning forward when sitting or sit without back support
  • Bending over the sink to brush your teeth or wash your face
  • Falling asleep in transport
  • Exercise a lot
  • Wearing high heels
  • Heavy lifting at work
  • Squatting, kneeling or standing for a long period of time

Poor posture may weaken muscle strength and reduces body’s support. It will also increase joint pressure and cause joint pain and strain. Joint dislocation may happen for severe cases.
