Initially, they intended to focus on their respective careers and retire successfully at work like others, hoping their two sons would grow up healthily. Unity and Mutual Growth
As managers in different professions, the couple experienced friction in the early days of their Amway business. Over time, they learned to embrace and appreciate each other's strengths. After a period of hard work, they each applied their strengths and found unique roles that could uplift the team. Victor took on frontline responsibilities such as giving presentations, providing nutritional consultations, and explaining business plans; while Wendy focused on planning and support, deeply understanding the needs of partners to promote team stability. Their two sons also got involved in the Amway business. One unforgettable experience was celebrating the winter solstice at the Amway Centre, where the whole family ordered take-away to celebrate the festival. It felt warm, reminiscent of the experiences many entrepreneurs have on their journey: "working in the front and living in the back." Although differences in opinion were inevitable while working together, in the end they all understood each other, as they were united in their goal.
A Philosophy of Health and Wellbeing
Wendy and Victor attach great importance to the "Health and Wellbeing" philosophy advocated by Amway, integrating it into their daily lives. They believe, "we strive to be role models for those around us and influence others to adopt a healthy and happy lifestyle." They often remind their sons to maintain good physical and mental health, not only to be responsible for themselves, but also to alleviate the worries of their family. They firmly believe in the domains of "Health and Wellbeing": Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Community Connection, Personal Growth, Healthy Environment and Financial Wellbeing, which provide them with clear direction and goals in life. "Action and practice are the most important, not just theory." Victor emphasized.
Persistence and the Future
Throughout their journey with Amway, they have adhered to the Founders’ Fundamentals: Family, Freedom, Rewards and Hope, allowing their family to feel the values of Amway. In mid-2024, three generations of them participated in the "2024 Mediterranean Cruise", gaining firsthand travel experiences and feeling the enthusiasm of their partners, reinforcing that Amway is a family business. Wendy and Victor's dream is to “be a person of significance to others and continuously add value to others,” aiming for continuous growth and progress in every aspects while taking on more challenges in the Amway business, with the next goal of becoming Diamonds.
When they recalled the journey to becoming Founders Emerald, they recognize the need for more effective communication and cohesion with their partners rather than relying solely on individual effort! "The process is life-like and must be full of joy and happiness. The Amway business not only emphasizes monetary returns but also focuses on uniting like-minded partners, mutual respect, and teamwork to achieve common goals. This is what makes Amway’s business so unique!” Victor stated.
The Amway journey has not only granted them financial freedom but has also deepened their appreciation for the importance of family, health and happiness, providing them inner peace and satisfaction.

Before joining Amway, Bichar Man lacked a specific life plan. However, upon discovering the business opportunity, he was inspired by its potential for financial freedom and a structured generational plan. Initially unfamiliar with nutrition, he gradually embraced the principles of "Health and Wellbeing" and integrated them into his daily life. By sharing this knowledge, Bichar Man not only improved his own wellbeing but also inspired others to adopt healthier lifestyles. He also credited the AmFit program, particularly AmWeight competition, for his growth. This is not only deepened his knowledge of health but also helped him expand his business by adding value to others’ lives. Beyond health, Bichar Man is deeply committed to nurturing his team’s growth and leads by examples. As a leader, Bichar Man exemplifies one of Amway’s core values, Partnership. "My focus is on helping my team realize their potential while building a strong community where we grow together," he says. Through regular training sessions and personalized counseling, he fosters a culture of growth, trust, and collective achievement. As he puts it, “What I appreciate most about Amway is its helping spirit.”
Overcoming Challenges and Finding Motivation
Like many entrepreneurs, Bichar Man encountered challenges in the early stages of his Amway journey, facing difficulties due to language barriers and a lack of personal success stories to share. Reflecting on this, he adds, “I overcame those challenges through persistent learning and sharing my experiences.” Over the past nine years, Bichar Man has enjoyed multiple travel rewards, including leadership seminars and overseas training that have enriched his life. One of the most memorable was his first overseas trip with his partner in 2016. The experience was a revelation, made even more special by receiving an unexpected annual bonus shortly after the trip. This moment solidified his belief in the potential of the Amway business and its life-changing rewards.
A Vision for the Future
For Bichar Man, "Health and Wellbeing" are fundamental to a meaningful life. He firmly believes that without these elements, life loses its essence. Looking ahead, his vision is to help others recognize health as a true asset while guiding those who are interested in building their own Amway businesses. "Amway is not just a business," he says.
