Getaway from Hong Kong 2023 - Day 4: Gala Dinner – “Flashback 70s. Let’s Groove”!

An amazing trip was brought to a close with the eagerly-awaited gala dinner, themed "Flashback 70s – Let's Groove". The event was held at Shed 10, an historic building at Auckland port that was formerly a cargo warehouse. The building underwent extensive renovations and has been transformed into a popular event venue, while still retaining its original architectural features and sense of history.

The venue was decorated and transformed into a 70s’ disco dance hall to match the theme of our gala dinner. Mood lighting and nostalgic music also brought the theme to life – as did the fact that everyone dressed in classic 70s’ outfits, from psychedelic printed dresses and bell-bottom pants to high-waisted jeans.

The keenly anticipated best-dressed awards brought the evening to a climax, with Mrs. Angela Keung, Vice President of Amway Hong Kong, and Ms. Amanda Kok, General Manager of Amway Hong Kong, presenting awards to three best-dressed winners. There were plenty of photo opportunities with the winners, not to mention a group photo with all our leaders and the Amway management team joining together to bear witness to an unforgettable night in Auckland!

Everyone enjoyed the 70s’ ambience while the impressive live band and dance performances created electrifying entertainment. It was sad to such a great evening end, but everyone left looking forward to creating new peaks in their Amway business and to celebrating together again soon.
