Everyone who goes to Auckland must show their courage and be brave enough to take on new challenges! A variety of extreme experiences awaited us and, although some may have felt they were frightening, having good companions by our side helped us rise to the challenge together. The following two experiences were the highlight of Day 3.
America's Cup Sailing Experience
The America's Cup sailing race is the world’s most prestigious sailing event, and this experience enabled us to personally sail on a yacht and even have the opportunity to steer a craft that had actually participated in the America's Cup, helping us to experience the thrill of sailing firsthand.
Harbour Bridge Climb and Bungy Jump
The Auckland Harbour Bridge is 1,020 meters long and is the only bridge of its kind in New Zealand that is open for tourists to climb. Following our professional guides, we climbed all the way to the top of the bridge, enjoying a 360-degree panoramic view of Auckland city and experiencing a real visual thrill.
The Harbour Bridge is also the only spot in New Zealand where you can experience high-altitude bungee jumping over the sea. Jumping off a 43-meter-high platform is an unforgettably exhilarating feeling! We also took part in various challenging water and land sports, with unlimited XS energy drinks available to replenish our energy.
After a few hours of physical activity, we got the chance to slow down and appreciate the peaceful side of Auckland. At Sheepworld, we took in the beautiful New Zealand countryside, watched sheepdog performances, and experienced the fun of shearing sheep up close. We also visited Waiheke Island, where several renowned wineries are located, to sample locally produced wines and bring the afternoon to a leisurely end.
