As you may remember, we have introduced Mt Eden, K’Road and Ponsonby Road to you as the must-visit checkpoints in Auckland earlier. Now we are going to bring you to several quays in Auckland, the City of Sails.
Although Auckland’s CBD is full of skyscraper-sized buildings, we can enjoy the stunning sea view of Auckland at Viaduct Harbour and Princes Wharf. Made up of a number of quays, this area offers distinctive high-quality dining and entertainment activities. The area makes the most of its harbour proximity and views with a number of yachts moored in the harbour. Don’t forget to take picture there!
Mission Bay is a beautiful waterfront suburb in Auckland – just 15 minutes from the CBD and a great place to enjoy sunset views. It offers stunning vistas over Rangitoto and is a great place to eat, drink and enjoy life.
Next, we will go to Queen Street and it’s the shopping time! Queen Street is considered as Auckland’s main thoroughfare and is home to numerous shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. It is well worth a serious wander. Auckland Town Hall has always been the political and cultural center of Auckland. Taking pride of place on Queen Street in Auckland’s CBD, it is well known for its famed Great Hall and separate Concert Chamber that attracts many tourists.
Two more weeks to go! Pack your bags and let’s enjoy our Auckland trip!
