Is it healthier to eat breakfast? Should I skip breakfast to reduce calorie absorption and for weight loss?
Having breakfast on a regular basis helps control your appetite and calorie absorption in a better way. On the other hand, if you eat a healthy breakfast every morning, it helps regulate blood glucose level and make you feel full for longer.
Breakfast provides you with the essential nutrients your body needs, it helps maintain a good metabolic rate, which in turn promotes weight loss. Studies have shown that the risk of obesity can be reduced if you get into the habit of eating breakfast. People who do not eat breakfast regularly are more prone to overweight, obesity or central obesity than those who eat breakfast regularly1.
It is also important to pay attention to your diet and exercise habits if you are undergoing certain weight loss program. If your goal is to lose weight in a healthy way, it is suggested maintaining a regular eating pattern, especially in the morning.
