【Amway Botanical Research Center Trip 2026】10,000 Doses of Naturally Extracted Dendrobium🌼(1)

Dendrobium, long considered the No. 1 among the “Nine Great Medicinal Herbs” for centuries, has gone through a remarkable transformation - from a fresh flower blooming in the forest to a key ingredient in Nutrilite™ iCell Drink. 

It’s not only an extraction process - it’s a time-critical challenge and a kind of natural “alchemy”. Starting with 1,000 grams of fresh flowers, harvested during just 2 days of a 15-day bloom period (“golden harvest period”), then dried and dehydrated in 4 hours, and finally extracted via 72 hours of ultra-freeze-drying… The result is only 18 grams of extract! With a whole year’s effort of the entire farmland, the outcome was precious.

Step 1: A “tree-top” factory – following the plant’s natural power

At the Nutrilite Farm in Pan’an, Zhejiang, Dendrobium grows wild on rock faces or tree trunks. Its life depends less on soil and more on air.

The semi-transparent aerial roots hanging in the air are its “mouth.” Every breath helps it absorb what it needs. It happens like a “natural factory on trees” with no artificial speeding up, just letting the plant grow according to its own biological rhythm.

Step 2: Stringent Standards – racing the plant’s metabolism

The flowering period of Dendrobium lasts about 15 days and only certain flowers can be selected. The active ingredients reach their peak only when the flowers are in day 3 to 4 after blooming, with the petals fully opened. The golden harvest period is just 48 hours. 

In addition to timing, the picking standards are extremely strict:

• Never harvest on rainy days
• Only pick flowers from the 3^rd and 4^th day 

If any standard is missed, the flower no longer meets Nutrilite’s requirement. In other words, high quality is not just about cost - it’s about strict adherence to standards. Every flower chosen has been carefully filtered through the right place, timing, sunlight, and water.
