Standards of NutriCert, A Sustainable Farming System in ABRC

The farms in Amway Botanical Research Center (ABRC) meet the high standards of NutriCert. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbs there are grown using organic, non-polluting, sustainable, and traceable farming practices to provide high-quality ingredients for Nutrilite products.

NutriCert is a system that Nutrilite has developed over many years of organic farming based on nine guiding principles including: the farm is organic, it must ensure biodiversity, protect beneficial insect habitats, maintain soil health and preserve its nutrients, be free of pollution, protect seeds, and the farm's production activities can be traced and tracked and become part of the surrounding community.

Not only do the farms carry out stringent quality control on the entire process from planting soil to products, but they also utilize the natural characteristics of TCM herbs for combination farming to control pests. In addition, the ABRC farms prohibit the use of synthetic herbicides and adopt an integrated approach to weed control, which not only help to protect the ecosystem, but also ensure that Nutrilite's products are safe and free from contamination.
