Amway Volunteers Connect Communities and Care for Seniors' Health and Wellbeing

Amway Hong Kong has consistently demonstrated its commitment to supporting the underprivileged in our community. Over the past two months, the Amway volunteer team partnered with “Helping Hand” to organize two thoughtfully designed events for the elderly, with the goal of enhancing their health and wellbeing through warmth and care.

The Amway volunteer team conducted visits to the Po Lam Jockey Club Housing for the Elderly and the Chuk Yuen (North) Jockey Club Housing for the Elderly, where they hosted health seminars, wellness checkups, and personal care sessions. During these events, participants underwent blood pressure, BMI, and bone density assessments. Amway's professional nutritionists also delivered informative sessions on the importance of protein in maintaining health, helping the elderly gain a better understanding of their nutritional needs. Additionally, a personal care talk focused on skin health during the autumn and winter seasons was also conducted. Amway beautician shared practical tips on proper skin nourishment to prevent dryness-related concerns and provided simple self-care techniques to empower the elderly to take better care of themselves.

To further support the participants' health and wellbeing, Amway Hong Kong thoughtfully prepared Nutrilite Drink Mix (Black Pepper Mushroom Flavor) and the g&h Nourish Set as gifts. These contributions underscored Amway’s commitment to offering tangible, meaningful support and expressing heartfelt care for the elderly.
